«No Exit» exhibition opens in Åre, Sweden (and here on mentalpropell.com)

This time we were a full team, in a truly collaborative effort. Johan Bergmark supported us all the way, Helge Kaasin explored Åre in Norwegian and Ken Schubert create an English experience. Hotell Fjällgården hosted the effort and we were supported all the way by Skistar, and locals from Åre and Duved. And the whole journey gently helped along by our agent Per Olsson from UpOnWalls.

We arrived in Åre in early September with one of the best mantras that we can remember, and gave ourselves 48 hours to create the 2020 exhibition for Fjellgården. A loving look at Åre out of season, looking behind the scenes and under the surface - the way we love the best.

Åre has really got under our skin, so we have decided to make a new project out of this opening night. Åre in winter was stunning, and our project, preliminarily named “Kjeftesmelle” will be a part of a larger Åre across the seasons project that we will continue developing. Enjoy the project!
